Course Description: The goals of this four day course are two-fold but most important is to build confidence for those taking the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) examination.
The first facet of the course is designed to relieve test anxiety by providing test taking tips, reviewing test standards/types of questions, scoring procedures, and time limits.
The second is to provide the crash reconstructionist with a review of the basic concepts/theories necessary to successfully complete the exam. This will be accomplished by completing in class exercises including a "desktop" reconstruction of an actual crash.
Effective May 1, 2011 the use of laptop computers and programmable calculators is prohibited during the ACTAR examination. The addition of the fourth day to this class will allow for more classroom instruction and exercises dealing with the order of operations and reconstruction formulae.
Note: This course is designed and intended to review and refresh; NOT teach all of the skills and concepts necessary to pass the ACTAR exam. Attendees should have completed a Traffic Collision Reconstruction Course or equivalent.

Typically we offer this class 2-3 months prior to an ACTAR exam in order to help you identify areas you need improvement in. We want to give you the necessary time to take what you learn in the class, continue to practice, and hone your skills prior to the ACTAR exam.
